Pastor Roscoe Sanders Jr. is a native of Saint Petersburg, FL. He committed his life to Christ in his early twenties. He moved to Georgia in 2001 along with his family. He served as a deacon at the Northside COG from 2002 to 2004. In 2005, he received his license as an ordained preacher while working under the supervision of Pastor Reginald Anderson Sr. During that period, he also served as the Outreach Committee Chair for the Southern District of the State of Georgia. Pastor Sanders received his training and credentials from the In Service Training Institute between 2006 and 2008. He received ordination in the Church of God on March 19, 2011. In 2010, he founded the New Community Church of God in Rincon, Georgia, and ministered there for four years. Following his illness, Pastor Sanders closed New Community Church. Afterwards, Pastor Sanders took on the role of interim pastor in 2019 before being appointed senior pastor at Northside Church of God in 2022, where he is still serving as of right now. Pastor Roscoe Sanders and Lady Janice Sanders have been happily married for over 28 years. Rahmaun, Essence, Levi, and Kye Sanders are their four children, and they are proud parents. Additionally, they have five beautiful grandchildren. When he's not at church, Pastor Sanders enjoys traveling, watching Syfy movies, and hanging out with his family.
